Introduction

ArcaMoneta (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the ArcaMoneta application and its optional features.

ArcaMoneta is designed with a privacy-first approach. Your collection belongs to you, and ArcaMoneta does not require account creation or developer-managed user accounts.

Information We Collect

By default, ArcaMoneta does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share your personal information or collection data with the developer.

Information you enter into ArcaMoneta may include coin collection records, acquisition and Coin Lot information, precious-metal and Stack Item records, Goldback records, photographs, values, grades, notes, and other collection-related information.

This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to use a feature that transmits or exports information, such as optional iCloud synchronization, sharing, or voluntary reference-data submission.

iCloud Synchronization

ArcaMoneta Pro provides optional synchronization through Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services.

If you enable iCloud synchronization:

• Collection data is transmitted between your devices and Apple’s iCloud services.

• Synchronized data is associated with your personal Apple iCloud account.

• The developer does not maintain a separate ArcaMoneta user account containing your collection.

• Apple manages the underlying storage, security, and transmission of iCloud data.

Use of iCloud is subject to Apple’s applicable privacy policy and terms of service.

Voluntary Reference-Data Submissions

ArcaMoneta may allow you to voluntarily submit information regarding missing, incomplete, or potentially incorrect numismatic reference data, including issuing authorities, denominations, mints, and related coin information.

These submissions occur only when you intentionally choose to send the information. ArcaMoneta does not automatically transmit your coin collection to the developer for this purpose.

Information voluntarily submitted may be reviewed and retained as necessary to research, verify, correct, or expand ArcaMoneta’s numismatic reference database.

Only information included in or necessary for the submission is used for this purpose. Voluntary reference-data submissions are not used for advertising or user tracking.

Reports, Exports, and Sharing

ArcaMoneta provides features that allow you to generate reports, backups, collection exports, 2×2 coin inserts, Brag Cards, and other shareable content.

These files are generated at your request. When you choose to share or export information using Apple’s sharing features or another application or service, the handling of that information by the selected destination is governed by that service’s privacy practices.

ArcaMoneta does not automatically send generated reports, exports, backups, photographs, or other shared content to the developer.

In-App Purchases

ArcaMoneta offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s App Store.

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. The developer does not receive, store, or process your credit card number, payment credentials, or other payment information handled by Apple.

Apple may provide the application with subscription status and related transaction information necessary to determine access to purchased ArcaMoneta features.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

ArcaMoneta does not use third-party advertising networks.

ArcaMoneta does not track users across applications or websites for advertising purposes.

ArcaMoneta does not sell personal information or collection data.

Support Requests

If you contact ArcaMoneta for support, including by email, we may receive your email address and any information, screenshots, files, or other content you voluntarily provide.

This information is used to respond to your request, troubleshoot problems, and provide customer support.

Please avoid including collection information or other information that is not necessary to resolve your support request.

Data Security

Collection data is stored locally on your device or, when iCloud synchronization is enabled, using Apple’s iCloud services.

The security of locally stored and synchronized information depends in part on the security of your device, Apple Account, iCloud account, and other services you choose to use.

ArcaMoneta provides backup and export functionality that allows you to maintain additional copies of your collection. You are responsible for securing exported or backed-up files after they leave the application.

Data Retention

Collection information stored locally remains under your control and may be modified or deleted using ArcaMoneta’s available collection-management features.

Data synchronized through iCloud is managed through Apple’s services.

Information voluntarily submitted to ArcaMoneta for support or numismatic reference-data research may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, investigate the submission, maintain appropriate records, or improve ArcaMoneta’s reference database.

Children’s Privacy

ArcaMoneta is a general-purpose collection-management application and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children.

Collection information entered into ArcaMoneta remains locally on the user’s device or, when enabled, within the user’s iCloud environment except when information is intentionally shared, exported, submitted for support, or voluntarily submitted through a reference-data reporting feature.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to ArcaMoneta’s features, services, or privacy practices.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
